If I'm not mistaken, for the file extension...

If I'm not mistaken, for the file extension ".dat", OpenFOAM will use it's own data formatting convention. Therefore, for a vector, it should be:
#SGAS KRG PCOG
(0 0 0)
(0.02 0 ...
