How are you editing it? If you are using ICEM, ICEM will read in a def mesh just fine. There will be no underlying geometry associated with it, but you can generate that with mesh to facet tools. ...

What do you need it for? ICEM will read in a cfx mesh just fine. I think you can do this in FE modeler also (in wb) but I dont have experience with that.
