you can also split the surface you want to sweep, and then you sweep just the surface next to your sharp angle.
Doing that you will keep your inlet

sweep the face in x-direction, but with a small...

sweep the face in x-direction, but with a small vector, just for preventing the sharp edge.
Then you will have a small edge, but you will fix the issue with a size function
