writeFormat ascii; and
writeCompression off; in my controlDict of the case.

if I put binary and compression on is there anything else...

I have problem of storing files of OpenFoam simulations. Case folder sizes are usually in 20-50 GB size for a mesh with a small number of cells ( 300000). If I got 3million cells this...
