Okay, understood. Is it an unstructured mesh? If so, maybe check that the edge - curve associations are all correct.

Edit: I realise this would be an issue when importing the model...

Hello Tom,

Have you checked the mesh quality in ICEM (namely 2x2x2 and 3x3x3 Determinants)? ICEM can do many quality checks.
