Can you describe the motion with a CEL...

Can you describe the motion with a CEL expression? If the inlet is only translating it might work, but not if the diameter also changes with time.

Not that I know of, the profile files only accept 3 spatial locations or 2 spatial and one temporal.

There is no way you make your inlet boundary flat instead of 3D?
