There should be a ruler on your toolbar. Measure anything on the car and see if it is scaled correctly. If your model is scaled way down, the wrapper might not work if the base size of mesh is larger...

This depends on what your model looks like, but...

This depends on what your model looks like, but if you know from where you want the wrapper to be seeded, you can change from meshing the largest internal volume, to actually selecting the volume....
