Never mind I figured out that you don't actually need to calculate this manually as Fluent solves the moisture volume fraction by just simply inputting a dry coal density in the coal calculator.

Just a quick question, if you are using species transport (Eddy Dissipation), do you turn on wet combustion in coal calculator or do you turn it on under the DPM wet...

I have enable wet combustion under DPM (I am using species transport).

I take it you are supposed to calculate the volume fraction of liquid?

Does anyone have any tips with regards to this?
