hello everyone! i'm studying a non-circular duct, and i've to develope the friction factor correlation in fully developed turbulent region.

Does anyone know how do discover (in terms of Reynolds number) the transition region between laminar and turbulent?

i've heard about the gamma retheta model but i don't know how to use it, there are no sufficient support on the net.
