Hi, I imported one 2-D CAD file of a complicated geometry into STAR-CD. These are in the spline form. I am facing problem in generating meshes using these splines in PROSTAR. Since it is a complicated geometry, generating the mesh using vertices is a cumbersome task. So can anybody help in generating the meshes using splines alone?

Hi Haris,
If you allready have the splines describing your geometry and if they end at the same point (so you do not have gabs) use the block tools. Youst look in the manual, it is an easy task to setup a mesh with blocks surrounded by splines. |
