Joe,
I use STAR-HPC on a non-dedicated cluster of HP workstations. The workstations are a mix of C360's and C3000's, but are all running 10.20. The network is 100BaseT through a hub. I've run from 2 to 16 processors for my jobs, and normally run 8. Depending on the time of day I get 60 to 80% processor utilization with 8 CPUs. On the weekends when no one else is on the network, I can get up to 90%. Jeff |
