I have a problem running V522 in the OpenGL modus on my linux (SUSE8.2) box with nvidia geforce4 Ti4200.

Every time I press the OpenGL button or type "term ,,, extended" the program freezes.

Version 520 and 521 work without problem on the same machine.

Is anybody out there who got this version running?

I tried 522 on a machine with suse 8.2 and opengl and I had no problems at all. The video card is nvidia, but I have not been able to find out what model. Perhaps your drivers need to be updated?

No problem here with NVIDIA-4496 and SuSE 8.2 and SuSE 9.0 (Quadro4 980XGL) NVIDIA-5336 does not work here with ANSA.

I tried all drivers and also changed the card but without success. The 5XXX drivers crash the machine when leaving prostar (521) and the 4XXX drivers work well with all programs but not with 522. I think I will stay with 521 and see what is coming.

I have observed the same behavior on a SGI OCTANE R12000 workstation, or on a SGI FUEL R14000 workstation. But, 522 (and 520,521) version works fine on a SUN BLADE workstation. There is however a difference in OpenGL version driver : - SGI : OGL v1.1 - SUN : OGL v1.2.1
