Hello,

Does somebody know how to use the command egrep for extracting the needed values from a file (.info file, for example)?

Regards,

Julie

egrep is very similar to grep - did you try

man grep

to see the parameters?

Type something like

grep ITER file.info

for example to find all lines containing the string ITER in the file file.info
