HI Experts,

Could you tell me if the information on this webpage is still up to date? Because one can read there, that it refers to version 3.1 of StarCD. Which means it is more than 5 yrs old (or more???)....

Is there any such a source of useful information/tricks for proam and starcd 3.2???

For some reason adapco has not kept their website up to date. It hasn't changed in a year or more. However, much of the information there still applies. The macros and panels that it describes still work with the current version. I know of no other source for useful information except here. I have yet to ask a question here that I did not get a workable solution to my problem. My only problem is that sometimes I feel my questions are stupid, but no one has told me that yet.

What Tom said. It's actually closer to four years since it was updated, but much of the content is still useful.

There have been promises to revive it, but the only person who seemed really interested at CD-adapco is a little swamped, I understand.

I agree to what Tom has to say and feel that, sometimes my questions are stupid too. But I have no other source of learning prostar since most of it is command line based and the user manuals dont carry a simple example for commands such as 'VCEXTRUDE'. Since I have been using Gambit before I am not yet very proficient with prostar(in linux). But please let me know if you guys know of a source wherein they illustrate how to use the important commands. Thanks much. I know a few getting help from jorn, and will post them soon.
