Dear sirs, How can I model a free surface water wave motion?I tried many times but failed.Can anyone help me?How to distinguish the different fluid(air and water) at the inlet boundary? Thank you!

Did you use free surface model in StarCD? It's very straightforward. Define light material and heavy material.
But, you need to define the initial condition to specify the hieght of water. You can find the way to define initial condition in a tutorial. |
