I am using version 4.02 of STAR-CD. When I create geometry, and say generate mesh, What kind of mesh is it by default?
I think it is hexahedral mesh with trimmed cells. If possible I can send you the mesh view in word file, so that u can help me better. Thanking you, Sachin |

Hi. It is hexahedral mesh if no couple option. If couple option is on, then generates polyhedral mesh

the best way to mesh is to use the mesh tools in starccm+ then export to prostar. But not the other way around! ask your local support officer.

ccm+ sometimes creates bad meshes expecially for complex geometries.
