Hi,

I am using star ccm+ to model my case in which a hot gas at 1300C enter the chamber and there are some liquid droplet present inside the chamber which when interact with the liquid droplet the energy transfer take place between the droplet and the gas due to which the hot gas temperature reduces and the flow comes out of the cylinder.I am confused about how to approach this problem.Do i need to use DEM or Multiphase or i need to use film modeling(by making spherical shape and adding layers fluid film on the surface). I some body has done any kind of such simulation then please guide me about the problem.

Thank you
