Hi all,
I've completed a simulation for an urban block. The buildings are presented as cubes. Now, I would like to see the velocity at 5 m above building tops, walls and roads. Therefore, I need to create a plane that would envelope that part of the computational domain (the part with the buildings), but the plane should be 5 m above the bottom/surface. Please do you know how could I approach this problem? Thanks, DjR |

You could create a part that represents your required plane by duplicating and repairing existing geometry. Then use that plane to create an arbitrary section.
I know that in 9.02 you can create an arbitrary section from a part directly. In older versions, you have to export it as stl and import it as an arbitrary section. Hope this helps. |
