Boundary update after geometry change

Hello dear forum users,

I have a simple question about CCM+ workflow.
Suppose to have set up a complete CCM simulation with a region based on a geometry part. Lets say that we have 2 boundary named A and B on the region.
Now, suppose to modify the orginal geometry adding a new surface C.
Is it possible to update the region with the new geometry and mantaining A and B configured boundary?

Yes, just right click on the surface, and say set boundary > new, and it will make a new boundary. Remesh and you're good to go.

So there aren't something automatic similar to "Assign to Region" like when we create Region for the first time.
I was expecting some "automatic update" function.

Well, in some cases new part surfaces will automatically be assigned to existing boundaries and you can just remesh. If you have part surfaces that become similar boundary conditions there isn't much reason to create a new boundary.
