Hello,

I would like to export the pressure distribution on a wall boundary from one simulation and apply it to the same boundary in another simulation.

Correct me if I am wrong but I think to export the pressure as an XYZ table, I would assign a cell surface derived part to the boundary of interest. Then create an XYZ table and have the pressure exported through the cell surface.

To apply it to the boundary in the new simulation, would I set the boundary to a pressure outlet and set its function to XYZ table? Is there a way to keep it a wall boundary rather than changing it to a pressure outlet?

Thanks in advance!

Are you trying to do this as an initial condition? I don't see why it would be useful to apply a pressure at a fluid boundary; wall boundaries cannot have a prescribed pressure, that doesn't make any physical sense.

You don't need to create a cell surface. Just create an XYZ table of the boundary.
