Good Day Gurus out there,
Currently I am carrying out this particular test and am facing some obstacles for past 2 weeks. My reference are from the following tutorial. 1. KCS ship hull resistance 2. DFBI Lifeboat with overset Mesh. My current status is based on the creation of the wedge using the 3D Cad function of StarCCM. Next step is the usage of Geometry>Parts>New Shape Part > Block, for the creation of the test bench's dimensions. My subsequent step is the usage of 'Split by Patch' to separate the 'Block' into dimension of the sides of the Test Bench (Basically a tank filled with water for the wedge to drop into'.) Now comes the problem, which is based on the attached image files. After creation of the 'Virtual Tank' and dragging it into the graphics Window as per the KCS ship resistance tutorial, no pop up occurred. Sorry if this is a silly mistake on my part, pretty new to the software. Last edited by elcheapo; February 29, 2016 at 06:16. |
