Hi everyone, I need your help!
The task is multiphase simulation of air and water flow with a given law of solubility of the air in the water(depending on some field function, eg pressure). Is it possible to carry out?

Yes! Sounds like a problem I would use VOF wave models for. However, it's hard to suggest a solution without knowing exact details of your needs and goals.

Actually all of the details are given) For example use a pipe with a gas-liquid mixture on its inlet. Due to hydraulic losses pressure decreases along the pipe and the liauid exudes more gas. Assume the gas concentration is in inverse ratio to the pressure.

Sounds like VOF model is the right way to go then.

Take a look at "VOF Formulation > Gas Dissolution and Cavitation Formulation" section in the Star manual to get an idea for what gas dissolution model suits your case better.

That sounds reasonably, but where have you found Gas Dissolution and Cavitation Formulation? The only thing I managed to find is Cavitation Formulation in phase interaction models and it doesnt seem to aloud me to bring in any changes.

In the user manual. The exact path in the manual tree is:

Code:
User Guide > Modeling Physics > Modeling Multiphase Flow > Using the VOF Multiphase Model > VOF Formulation > Gas Dissolution and Cavitation Formulation
I'm using Star-CCM+ 11.06.010
