Helly Guys,

i wanna do an exact coupling of the eulerian solution (VoF) with the Lagrangian approach. In Example: Results of the nozzle outflow conditions (velocity, density) should be the the initial / boundary condition to the lagrangian spray break up simulation into a chamber. Did this someone already and has some tips?

Thanks and Greetings

i have heard of this being done in both starcd and i think starccm+ but dont know any details probably with some user coding but i can imagine it is not too hard in starccm+ by using the volume fraction source option to remove the liquid when it gets too small and then add a local lagrangian injector at that location since both these physics can not be enabled and the opposite works of course ie drops being added to both films and volume of fluid.
the work i mentioned i think was published so a good search would find it
