Hello everyone,
I am trying to model a cabin. In order to study the effects of radiation on my model, I activated the solar load's module. Now I want to add thermal insulation to my roof. I have the dilemma as to how to add the insulation. I have two ideas, a) Calculate the universal thermal resistance for my roof and give this value under "environment" condition b) Model my roof with thickness, add thermal resistance values independently for the medium and two surfaces So, I need to know which model can map the solar radiation near to real-time values. If not, is there any other better suggestions to do so(If so, please specify them). Thank u |

Hi Nikhil,
I have the same kind of question, did you have any luck? I tried both, but using surfaces with environment condition doesnt seem to working and I don´t know why. Using thickeness on all the walls would be dificult so I was hopping its really just a mistake on the values Im inputing on the environment condition. Thank you |
