Hello everyone. Days ago I had mesh problems for both surface mesh and volume mesh like this picture shows:

Soon I realized this problem is from faulty geometry:

Sorry about these pictures, I’m not sure if you can see these lumps..

The original cad model has no problem at all, it is created in solidworks. But after I input into ccm problem starts, and CAD repair function inside ccm dosent pick the problem up.

I have tired inputting same model with different types of file. It actual made different! Also the “Tessellation Density “ option makes difference as well.
But no matter what I try, there is always some lumps by edges! What type of file do you guys use to input into ccm?

Thanks

I prefer STEP (.STP) file from CAD with default tessellation.

Just found , the “auto surface repair” inside “Repair surface” actually makes the geometry surface even more lumps! Have to be careful with this

Sometimes the imported CAD geometry seems to have problems especially when it contains small roundings or things like that.

I had a geometry with small channels which looked crumpled in the 3D Modeller but after remeshing the surface all was fine.
So maybe it's just the representation in your case, too. Good luck!

I have fixed the problem. It was because the Wrapper scale factor valve too big.

The wrapper shouldn't be making a mess of that feature. Can you post a picture of the discretized input geometry?

I'm glad you were able to configure the wrapper to get what you wanted.
