Hi,

I am struggling on how to plot the velocity contours on a cut plane in a vector scene in star-ccm+. I would like the coloured scale, in this case velocity magnitude, to be plotted on the cut plane behind.

The "vector scene" image is what I am currently stuck with

The "vector scene coloured cut plane" image is what I am trying to achieve, where the plane is blue.

If you want to plot velocity contours you need to put the plane into a scalar displayer and show the velocity magnitude.

Though the "colored cut plane" image doesn't make any sense, it shows the vectors as having a velocity field but the magnitude being zero everywhere. Is that what you really want?

Thank you for your help, I think I figured out what I need to do, I added a scalar scene to my current vector scene
