Hello,

If I want to write a user code that changes the heat flux on a boundary cell based on the temperature. And I am running a steady state CHT simulation.

1. Does the user code update the heat flux every iteration (steady state) ?
2. Is it better to just update the heat fluxes after the steady state simulation has converged ?

Thanks !!

I could be wrong but I believe you can just use a field function for this. There's a checkbox on field functions to return the cell value instead of the face value.
