Hello Everyone

Currently I am working with Star CCM+. My geometry is a stepped pipe of three diameters in that one cylinder is a porous medium. When I imported the file (.stp) which has three part bodies, I get the contact regions. Will this contact region be a problem in the processing!!

Thank you in advance!!

The contacts are faces shared by two different domains or regions in your model. Interfaces can be created at part contacts so that information can be shared between regions. If you are modeling a porous region they are necessary and expected.
