Hi,

I just did a simulation, and got my cp data as points are shown in the attachment. However, how do I draw a line along the points so its not just simple points but rather a continous line along the points. When I treid exporting in excel it doesnt work because the points aren't ordered. How would one order these points?

Thanks

Hi,

You need to go to your plot (let's call it "XY Plot 1") and follow this path:

XY Plot 1 -> Y Types -> Y Type 1 -> Line Probe -> Line Style -> Style -> Solid

Its the same problem as before, there is one line that's shooting off completely, I think its something to do with the ordering

There is "sort data" somewhere in the line properties.

StarCCM+ has the option to sort data, but it will sort it by their X-position, then the plot would be kind of messy.

Therefore, in that case and just based on the picture you've uploaded. You could divide the probe into two new ones. You could split it using the chord (taking advantage of the symmetric NACA profile). Then, you could reorder the data by their X-positions.
