Hi all,
I am importing an air vehicle with a surface mesh prepared before with any other mesher program. In Star-CCM+, I re-meshed the surface with surface remesher. When I try to generate the volume mesh with polyhedral mesher(without prism layer), it gives me the error: "can't recover edge near position:...". So I go to surface repair to see if there is anything wrong about the geometry but everything was fine. Then, I create probe at those points and notice that they are all on a thin edge. Then I re-meshed surface without CAD projection and those surfaces are now meshed with a fine progression without creating larger area ratios before and after of those thin edges. But is still gives me the same errors on the same locations. Is there someone got the same error before? Thanks |
