Hello everyone,
I am currently working on applying motion to two self-propulsion ships sailing in water. I have used DFBI (Dynamic Fluid Body Interaction) as the motion model and translation and rotation as the reference frames for both the motion and propeller rotation. However, I have encountered an issue when attempting to calculate the moment for each ship in STAR-CCM+ as it gives me an error when I try to set up the moment report. note that I have not considered the current and wind speed in the Volume of Fluid (VOF) simulation as the two ships have different speeds. I would greatly appreciate any assistance or guidance on how to calculate the moment for each ship in this scenario. Thank you in advance. |
