Hi,
does anyone have experience with the resource management prorgam Slurm ? I have been testing Star-cd in a cluster where slurm is used to handle jobs. The problem is that very poor performance is obtained when the number of cores exceed roughly 90 or so. Very bad meening that the cpu time increases to values greater than what one might get with single cpu. Reasonable speedup is obtained with cores 1 to ~40. Any comments or advice ? |
