Hi Everybody,

I want to modify the fields that Mechanical is outputting at each time step. Rather than writing stress, strain, nodal forces etc over all nodes in the solution matrix, I want to only write out values of selected variables over a specified group of nodes. I essentially want to create my own limited output field.

This way I am not writing out data that I don't plan to use, and hopefully, this will speed up my write time at each step and save on file space.

I feel like this should be possible, and any help in this matter would be greatly appreciated.

Cheers,
Nikini
