jackhero is on a distinguished road
Hello everyone,

I am working on Ansys workbench 16.0 and i need some help.

I want to draw a rod (or non hollow cylinder) protruding from a block in ansys. I am able to draw a block but i cant make the cylinder to (i) protrude and (ii) solid (non hollow) rod.

By protrude i mean that some part of that rod is inside that block and some of it is outside. I want to establish contact between these two surfaces and then check the pull out force stress relation. Can anyone guide me with modelling of it? I only have trouble in drawing the solid protruding cylinder/rod. I am using Ansys Design modeller

Any advice will be helpful.
