Damping Constant for a Floating Box

Hi,
I have a question: A box given is a slight push and then left to oscillate vertically in still water. We know the motion dampens out. I need to know what is the damping constant so that we put it in Equation of Motion and get full response. How can we find the amplitude of waves on water surface it generates. Thanks Rehan |
