Can you please help me out with this? I'm not sure why the installation has failed. I'm trying to install SU2 7.5.0 and this is what happens when I run the ninja command.

It looks like it tries to create,modify or delete a file or folder but it does not have the correct read/write permissions. Are you updating an existing installation?

Maybe you can try to clone the repository again in an empty folder and build it from there.

Thank you! But now I'm getting another error although I've installed all the dependencies. Please help me out with this one.

How do you compile your code? What are the exact commands? Does this work:

Code:

cd /home/wastre/su2_source/

git clone https://github.com/su2code/SU2.git
 ./meson.py build --prefix=/home/wastre/su2_source/SU2
./ninja -C build install

I could install SU2 7.4.0 successfully though, using the same commands. I'll just go ahead with that for now. Thanks a lot for your time.
