Dear all,
I am trying to perform aerodynamic shape optimization of an aircraft wing. The wing has separate markers such as Upper, Lower etc. I would like to know how can I individually deform the top surface of the mesh and then the bottom surface during the optimization process. Also, when I optimized only the upper surface of the wing, there seem to be no change in the pressure coefficient distribution. The shocks were not disappearing/ even changing but the drag did come down. This seems strange, anyone has any idea? Any help would be appreciated. Kind regards Angu Praveen |
