Hi folks,

Let me preface by saying I'm not sure whether this fits better in the SU2 or Pointwise sub forum. I'll start here.

I'm having an issue with running SU2 with a CGNS formatted mesh I created in Pointwise (3D unstructured mesh for a simple blended wing body). The mesh was constructed and exported during an evaluation of the pointwise software, so I unfortunately do not currently have access to it. My config file (bwb.cfg) points to the input mesh bwb.cgns with MESH_FORMAT = CGNS. When I try to evaluate this config file with SU2_CFD I get the following terminal message:

!!! Error !!!
bwb.cgns is not a CGNS file.
Now exiting...

I am able to open the mesh file just fine in Paraview. I have SU2 compiled in the latest Ubuntu release, and was sure to use the configuration options:

--with-CGNS-lib=/path/to/CGNS/lib --with-CGNS-include=/path/to/CGNS/header

when compiling SU2. The cgns library itself is installed correctly to the best of my knowledge. When I run the program cgnscheck on my mesh (built into cgns library), this also throws an invalid file type error.

I am very new to SU2 and the cgns format in general, so any help or suggestions are welcome as I'm at a bit of a loss here on how to progress.

Thank you kindly, and I'm happy to provide more specific information if needed.
