Dear All;

Hi. I have two questions using SU2 version 6.
1- Can SU2 B-C transition model predict transition in compressible flow? Any solved problem? As in SU2 tutorial transition folder, all of the three available cfg files (flat plate, E387) are incompressible. I have tried to perform over these grids in compressible regime, but no transition occurs at the same Re which predicted transition well in incompressible flow.

2- Rigid motion of grid seems not to work in incompressible regime. Any idea to investigate transition at Re=400k over a moving body which needs rigid motion?

Thanks in advance.

Hello,

You can use B-C transition model for compressible flow. You may check this paper http://journals.sagepub.com/doi/10.1...54406217743537

Grid motion doesn't appear on incompressible solver code.
I tried the B-C model with compresible flow and it works. Maybe your laminar regions is too small.
