Unstaedy Simulation of ramp up motion of airfoil in su2

Hi,

How to carry out unsteady ramp up maneuver (angle of attack increasing from 0 to 20 degrees linearly in time) in su2.Is there any option to do so in the configuration file?

Hi,

you might take a look at 'TestCases/unsteady/pitching_{euler/RANS}' in the code. This is a continuous pitching of an airfoil with rigid mesh rotation. You might want to adapt the angle and "rotation speed" Omega to your needs. Together with suitable End-time you can simulate just your linear ramping part.
