tjhkenneth is on a distinguished road
I am recently calculating a transonic bump case using viscous compressible RANS solver. I have got the steady solution and now would like to see the Reynolds stress field. I noticed that Reynolds stres components are not available in the VOLUME_OUTPUT but it is available in an unsteady calculation as TIME_AVERAGE. Therefore I ran a few time steps in unsteady mode starting with my converged steady solution, but the Reynolds stress, e.g. UVPRIME, is not matching with experiment for some reasons (other variables agree well).

My question is:
- could I also output Reynolds stress in steady RANS?
- If I run a few time steps in unsteady starting with a steady solution, would that be the same as the Reynolds stress in a steady RANS?

Thank you in advance!
