Hi everyone, I am a college student and I am working with SU2 as my end-of-degree project.
I am having trouble imposing the right BC in the outlet end when adapting the flatplate test case to a supersonic flow. I am trying to put Riemann BC but that's not working. I've also tried the MARKER_SUPERSONIC_OUTLET BC, but that doesn't seem to work either. Could someone suggest how to approach this case? |

Hi Dylan,
What seems to not be working in your simulation? In any case, I would suggest using MARKER_OUTLET. The supersonic outlet will not properly work since there should be an area of subsonic flow. Let me know if this helps. Best, Wally |

Thank you for your reply!
What happens is that the simulation converges to a wrong solution when I try with the Riemann BC. I've already tried the MARKER_OUTLET but in that case the simulation didn't even converge. I could attach the .cfg file in case it helps. |
