Hello SU2 users,

I am using SU2 7.0.7 for a mild subsonic case. I have a generic geometry with a four tail structure. I have named 5 different markers (body, tail_1, tail_2, tail_3, tail_4,) hoping to see their contribution to the aerodynamic coefficients.

For a dynamic aerodynamic coefficient analysis or an urans case, I wanted to see their contribution in each time step. However, the new time step overwrites the file automatically on the previous time step.

I have also no choice to seperate the markers' contribution in the history file due to my need for total aerodynamic coefficients.

I could not find any answer to my question on the internet that's why I'm asking it here now.

Is there a way to write forces_breakdown specific to each time step like forces_breakdown_00001, forces_breakdown_00002 and so on just like the vtk files?

It's a bug, we'll fix it for the next release. If you compile from source, try the develop branch in a couple days.
Thank you for letting us know.

Hi Pedro,

I would like to know if this problem has been fixed yet in version 7.1.1, as I might need to use it to plot the history data of C_{l} and C_{d} for my analysis.

Hoping to hear from you soon.

With warm regards,

Ravi
