Hello,
I have a problem where I need to extract aerodynamic coefficients on 2 different wall surfaces. I am running a dualtime rans simulation on SU2 7.2.1. I defined both walls in markers as noslip walls and in MARKER_MONITORING, but it seems that the history file still only contains the global coefficients. I managed to get the coefficients in the forces_breakdown.dat output, but it's rather inconvenient since I have to write all solutions quite frequently to be able to perform any kind of statistic analysis on the coefficients since it's a time accurate problem. Does anyone know of a way to extract a simple log file of the coefficients for each surface? Thank you |

Attach "_SURF" to the history output field will write the value for each individual surface in the marker list. So, for AERO_COEFF you would have to add"AERO_COEFF_SURF" to HISTORY_OUTPUT.
