I am trying to figure out how to run hypersonic CFD simulations using SU2 and as a start am trying to run the NICFD_nozzle.su2 tutorial to a higher Mach number. However, when I check the results in ParaView the Mach number does not seem to change. The tutorial uses the Riemann solver and I have tried setting the outlet pressures lower, and just changing the freestream Mach number but the results are still the same.
Would anybody know why this is happening and/or how I would go about doing this? |

Hi ckao,
Great to hear you are using SU2 for hypersonics! Could you post your config file, so we can take a look? How many iterations are you running? what kind of convergence are you getting? |
