Hi ,
I am performing simulation on a rectangular wing at subsonic speeds . I have extracted the vortex core lines in tecplot360 on the completion of my simulation . I was wondering is there any way I could get the space coordinates of the vortex cores in tecplot360?

Hi Aamir,

The coordinates are available in the Data->Spreadsheet menu, select the vortex cores zone to see the coordinates.

To export these, you can:
1) Write the zone corresponding to the vortex cores and the X,Y,Z variables in a Tecplot dataformat (File->Write Data menu)
2) Export the coordinates as *.csv (Tools->Write Data as Formatted Text menu)

Feel free to contact Tecplot Support should you need any further assistance.

Best,

Antoine
