Tecplot Error: Assertion trap in function call from an add-on

Hi,

I'm executing a CFD simulation in Converge CFD, and the output files are in *.h5 format. When I try to load these output files into Tecplot, it throws an error stating, "Assertion trap in function call from an add-on", kindly ref. the attached screenshot.

Please help.

Asher,

This is a bug that may have been fixed in a newer version. I know that we had an issue where CONVERGE files could be exported with boundaries that contained zero points - a condition we were not expecting.

What version of Tecplot 360 or Tecplot for CONVERGE are you using? If it's not the most current, please try updating.

If the issue persists, please contact us at support@tecplot.com and we'll get you sorted.

I also encountered the same problem, and changed to a different version of the software, how did you solve it?

If you’re having problems loading CONVERGE data, please reach out to our support staff at support@tecplot.com. We’ll need to know which version of Tecplot 360 you’re using and may need an example data file from you so we can diagnose the issue.

For others encountering issues like this - if you're not using the most recent version of Tecplot 360, we suggest that you update as there may be fixes. If the newest version of Tecplot 360 does not solve the issue, contact our support staff at support@tecplot.com. We may need you to share your data so we can diagnose the issue.
