Hello all,
In a plot "XY Line" depicting Cf (friction coefficient) and Cp (pressure coefficient) distributions, I have been tried to distinguish the Cf and Cp results from pressure and suction sides of an airfoil. For instance, I'd like to identify the results from pressure side with dashed line and from suction side with solid line. Does anyone know how to do this? With a feature of TecPlot or a PyTecPlot code? Thanks in advance, Martim C. Andrade |

If you have a scalar value which identifies the pressure vs. suction side then you could use Value Blanking to isolate one side, then Extract>Blanked Zone to extract a new Zone with just those points. Do the same for the other side.
At that point you should have two separate Zones - one for the pressure side, another for the suction side and can plot different line styles on each. I hope this helps. Scott |
