In our community I have observed majority of us generally do not show photo-realistically rendered images, since we are mostly interested in physics aspects of the problem. Every now and then I keep seeing beautifully rendered animations either using POV-Ray, blender, etc, in particular from computer graphics research groups. I just want to explore more on this topic and see if we can bring more members of our cfd community to showcase end results with realistic animations. I ran some basic simulations and would like to seek some opinion on these.
Renderer: Mitsuba. Obtained all fluid interfaces in .obj format from simulation software. ![]() Happy to discuss on this, hear feedback from anyone, and happy to provide more info if interested. Thank you. |
