The Daniel Guggenheim School of Aerospace Engineering at the Georgia 
Institute of Technology in Atlanta, GA, invites nominations and applications 
for a faculty position in aerodynamics and fluid mechanics.  Applicants with 
experimental expertise are particularly encouraged.  The school works 
closely with Georgia Tech Research Institute (GTRI), the applied research 
arm of Georgia Tech in this area. Applications are sought from candidates 
working anywhere in the entire speed range from subsonic to hypersonic.  The 
school and GTRI currently have several subsonic and supersonic wind tunnels 
and combustors, as well as significant potential for hypersonic 
capabilities, with preheated, high pressure, high flow, high storage air 
capabilities.  Candidates at all ranks will be considered.  
Successful candidates will be expected to teach graduate and undergraduate 
courses; supervise graduate students; interact collaboratively with faculty 
in teaching, research, and service; and develop a strong, independent, 
externally funded research program.  An earned doctorate in aerospace 
engineering or a related field is required at the time of hire, and 
successful candidates will have outstanding records of research
